Hello, I am Teacher Dee and it would be great meeting you :)

I've always had a passion for teaching English as a second language all over the world. As a teacher I am focused on improving your English skills in Speaking, vocabulary and your grammar. My main objective of being a teacher is that I am able to teach concepts that you will be able to use in your everyday life.
I challenge my students to be confident with the English they are learning.

I would regard myself as friendly, kind and an open minded person ready to take on any challenges and grow as an individual and always willing to share my knowledge.

I have graduated with an Interior Design degree and obtained my TEFL certificate completed 120 hours. I've been teaching for the last 5 years and have had a wide range of students from young learner's to teenagers and adults.

When I am not working I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and hiking or walking my dog, relaxing with my family and friends.

My lessons are personalized and totally focused on you. I find out what you want and what you need. Then I create my lessons based on that. For example: Why are you learning English? What do you want to do with it? Are you interested in sports, cooking, art, travel, etc.? How do you learn best, by reading, looking at pictures, doing physical activities or listening? Which areas would you like to improve - speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, or fluency? I create the lessons based on you!

● 先生のレッスンスタイルについて聞かせてください。

私はたくさん褒め、上達が見られれば称賛するようにしています。生徒が、私から習った英語を安心して使えるように、最低限の説明以上のことをしています。
初級者には必要に応じてTPR(=Total Physical Response 全身を使った言語の指導法)を行い、絵や音を使って覚えてもらうようにしています。
また、生徒から質問がないか確認することを徹底しています。

●講師をしていてやりがいを感じたエピソードを聞かせてください。

私は生徒の皆さんが上達していくのを見るのが好きです。
ある生徒さんから、赤ちゃん用のアクセサリーを販売するビジネスのためのビデオの制作を依頼されたことがありますが、その時の数回のレッスンで、彼女が英語以外のことまで学んでいるのがわかりました。彼女は今でも私の生徒であり、私からのアドバイスをもとに日々英語力を伸ばしています。
努力している人の成長を見るのはとてもやりがいがあります。

●これまでの経歴と講師になったきっかけを聞かせてください。

知識を伝え、人々が自分の中に新しい視野を発見するのを見届けることへの情熱を見出しました。

●今興味があること・趣味・休暇の過ごし方を聞かせてください。

私は現在、宇宙や私たちの古代史について学ぶことに興味があります。趣味は、PCゲーム（オールラウンド）とガーデニングです。
休みの日は、本を読んだり、家族と一緒に過ごしたりして、ストレスを解消し、リラックスしています。
