I am Karla Marie Ponce from Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines with over 4 years experience teaching non-native speakers from China, South Korea and Japan.


In addition, I am a TESOL certified holder.

Furthermore, I am certified to teach and guide you in reaching your target score in IELTS. Some scores from my students have been as high as 8.0 and they could not thank me enough for me getting them passing the exam with such score.

●講師になろうと思ったきっかけは何ですか？

英語は小学生の頃から好きな教科でした。また、自分の英語の知識を異文化の人たちと共有したいと思っていました。また、違った文化を持つ人々とコミュニケーションをとることは、私の人生をより有意義で刺激的なものにしてくれました。さらに、私は教えることと学ぶことを同時に行っています。

●講師をしていて嬉しかったことは何ですか？

私がこれまで教師をしてきた中で一番印象に残っているエピソードは、人を鼓舞することができた時です。例えば、英語力が向上したことで仕事から昇進した時。子供の勉強を励みにして、英語学習への意識が変わった時には、誇りを感じました。生徒さんの成功の理由の一つになることは、講師としての誇りを感じる瞬間の一つです。
