Science is progressing so fast that we can only imagine what amazing new technologies we will have in the future. Even now private space companies are selling tickets into space and building spaceships. We are sending robots to Mars to search for signs of life and we are finding thousands of new planets.

One of the most amazing possibilities being developed now is bio-engineering. Soon we will be able to live longer and even change our bodies. Genetic engineering could make us stronger and more intelligent. New therapies could allow us to live for hundreds of years or even forever. Could we also develop psychic abilities? Like all new developments, it could be amazing or dangerous.

In the future we could develop unlimited clean energy. We could end pollution and hunger. People may start to leave the Earth and live in space or on other planets. Space has been called “The final frontier.” Perhaps we are ready to explore it.
