Today, thanks to the developments that have been made in technology, we are able to commute without leaving our homes. There are many computer programs available that allow us to take part in conferences, studies and meetings that are remote to our actual location. For all intents and purposes, the experience is the same as if we are in the same location as the other people connected to the program.

This type of commuting can save many dollars that might have been required if we had to travel to the other location and allows one to work from home. There are pros and cons to this type of commute. For example, it does save time and money by not having to travel, however, it does not permit us to observe the body language of the others at the meeting.

It will also let one study from a remote location and provides more control of our time. It is great for medical staff to be able to share information on a patient requiring special treatment and it can be done in a much shorter time frame. They can review and observe charts and X-rays making suggestions to assist with the treatment of a patient thus saving time and give the best possible help.
