When I was young, it was my dream to save a lot of money and travel around the world. I don't think my dream was that original but it was quite unrealistic since I never became the famous actor that I wanted to be. I thought that with all the money I would make as an actor it would be enough to just keep traveling around the world.
I once saw a show about a cruise ship that travels around the world. It isn't an ordinary cruise ship because the guests live on it. On average they live on the ship 4 months out of the year traveling to various destinations around the world. The apartments range from studio all the way up to 6 bedroom penthouse suites. There are 4 restaurants, numerous bars, clubs and cocktail lounges along with swimming pools, tennis courts, golfing facilities and a green, a library, theater and art gallery just to name of few of the ways the residents can spend their time.
It literally is a home away from home. The residents decide the itinerary for the year and then sit back as the ship's crew takes care of them. A never ending vacation, the perfect retirement home for me. Now if I could just win the lottery to afford that lifestyle.
