Today is Mari’s farewell party before she goes abroad to study English.
Mike
Is it tonight?! I totally forgot about it!
Yuri
I am leaving by car right now. Can I give you a ride?
Mike
Thank you! That would help me out.

サヤカはどこにいるの？

ユリ：
彼女は今夜のパーティーの準備をしているわ。

マイク：
今晩パーティがあるの？何のパーティ？

ユリ：

練習

Activity 1: Tell your tutor everything you are doing now as well as on-going actions. How many actions can you think of?
練習1：今あなたがしている行動も継続中の行動もすべて先生に話してみましょう。どれくらい思いつきましたか？

I am sitting on a brown chair. I am looking at my computer screen……. I am living in a small apartment.

Activity 2: Close your eyes and imagine that you are on holiday somewhere. Describe what you are doing and what is happening around you.
