The train was as crowded this morning as it usually is. I couldn’t get onto the train I wanted because it was too jam-packed.
George
No kidding! Today is Sunday!
Ken
But it really was. Maybe they were going to some kind of event?
George
Ah, today there is a concert at Central Park. That must be the reason.
ケン：遅れてごめん。

ジョージ：いいんだ。でも何があったんだい？

ケン：今朝電車がいつもと同じくらい混んでいたんだ。あまりに混みすぎていて乗りたい電車に乗れなかったんだよ。

ジョージ：まさか！今日は日曜だよ。

ケン：でも本当に混んでたんだ。何かのイベントにでも行く人たちだったのかな。

ジョージ：あー、今日はセントラルパークでコンサートがあるんだ。きっとそれが理由だね。
