The news says that the rainy season has finished. Summer has arrived!
Jane
Yeah, this is my first summer in Japan. I wonder which is hotter, Tokyo or London?
Mika
I think Tokyo is hotter than London in August. It is so hot and humid in Tokyo that you can’t sleep without an air conditioner.
Jane
Wow! I hope that I won’t suffer from heat stroke.
ミカ：ニュースによると梅雨が終わったそうよ。夏が来たわね！

ジェーン：ええ、私にとっては初めての日本の夏よ。東京とロンドンでどちらの方が暑いのかしら？

ミカ：８月は東京の方がロンドンより暑いと思うわ。東京ではあまりに蒸し暑くてエアコンなしでは眠れないのよ。

ジェーン：ええ！熱中症にならないといいなぁ。
