My wallet is missing. I just used it a little while ago.
Eric
Are you sure you put it in your bag? How about in your pocket?
Alex
It’s neither in my bag nor in my pocket. It might have been stolen. I had not only money but some credit cards in it!
Eric
You’d better report it to the police and call the credit card company to cancel your cards.
エリック：どうしたんだい、アレックス。

アレックス：財布がないんだ。ついさっき使ったばかりなのに。

エリック：本当に鞄の中にいれたの？ポケットの中は？

アレックス：鞄にもポケットにもないよ。盗まれたのかもしれない。お金だけじゃなくてクレジットカードも入れているのに！

エリック：警察に届けを出して、カード会社に電話してカードを止めてもらった方がいいよ。

The gate has been kept closed for years.
She has never been treated in such a rude way.
She had bought the bag long before the party.
→The bag had been bought long before the party by her.
Bill might have broken the window.
→The window might have been broken by Bill.
それは盗まれたのかもしれません。

その門は何年もの間閉ざされたままです。

彼女はそんな無礼な扱いを受けたことがありません。

彼女はパーティよりずっと前にその鞄を買いました
→その鞄はパーティーよりもずっと前に彼女によって購入されました。
