Alfred
I’m sorry. I was snowed under with meetings and paperwork all day.
Miho
I know you were busy, but you could have sent me a short message.
ミホ：昨日は私一日中あなたの電話を待っていたのよ。どうして電話くれなかったの？

アルフレッド：ごめんね。昨日はずっと会議や事務処理に忙殺されてて。

ミホ：あなたが忙しくしてるのは知ってる。でもショートメッセージくらいは送れたでしょう。
