Yeah. Progress in science and technology has made a lot of things possible. In a few years, people might travel to work by jet pack.
Sally
I think that’s an exaggeration.
サリー：リニアモーターカーは東京‐大阪間をたった１時間で走るのよ！

デイビッド：たった一時間で？何て速いんだ！

サリー：この新しい電車を使えば、多くの人が通勤時間を短縮できるわね。

デイビッド：あぁ。科学技術の進歩のおかげで多くのことが可能になったね。数年後にはジェットパックで通勤しているかもしれないね。

サリー：それはおおげさだと思うわ。
