Wife
Fred asked me to raise his allowance. I think I’ll raise it to 60 dollars a month.
Husband
I disagree with you. It’s too much for an elementary school student. Why does he want more money?
Wife
He says he wants to buy more video games for his computer.
Husband
If he wants a higher allowance then he needs to help more around the house and get better grades in school.
妻：フレッドがお小遣いを上げてくれって頼んできたわ。月６０ドルまで上げようかと思うんだけど。

夫：僕は反対だな。小学生に月６０ドルはすぎるよ。どうして彼はお金をもっとほしがっているの？

妻：彼はコンピューターのゲームをもっと買いたいって言っているのよ。

夫：もし彼が小遣いを上げてほしいのならもっと家の周りのことを手伝うことと、学校でもっといい成績を取ってくることが必要だね。
