Yesterday, I went to the pancake cafe that you recommended to me the other day.
Joan
Oh, how was it?
Sarah
A lot of people were lined up in front of the cafe and I had to wait for 2 hours!
Joan
I am sorry that you had to wait. But why were so many people waiting? I didn’t wait at all when I went there.
Sarah
The cafe was featured on TV a few days ago. That was the reason for the long line.
セーラ：昨日、あなたがこの間すすめてくれたパンケーキのカフェに行ってみたの。

ジョアン：あら、どうだった？

セーラ：たくさんの人がカフェの前で並んでいて、入るまでに２時間も待ったのよ。

ジョアン：待たなければならなかったなんて残念だわ。でも、どうしてそんなにたくさんの人が待っていたの？私が行ったときは全然待たなかったのに。

セーラ：数日前にそのカフェがテレビで紹介されたのよ。それが長蛇の列の理由だったのよ。
