Becky
I’m afraid that I can’t go to the party. I have a lot of work to do. I am nowhere near finished.
Lola
Oh, come on. It’s the weekend. You don’t have to finish it until Monday. You have time.
Becky
Maybe you’re right. Jane said she’s invited some good-looking guys. This is a chance to find a boyfriend!
Lola
That’s right!
アリス：明日のジェーンの家での持ち寄りパーティー、何を持っていく？私はブラウニーを焼こうかと思ってるの。

ベッキー：残念だけど、私はパーティーに行けそうにないの。やらなきゃいけない仕事がたくさんあって。まだまだ終わりそうにないのよ。

アリス：そんなこと言わないで。週末よ。月曜日までに終わらせる必要なんてないのよ。時間があるじゃない。

ベッキー：そうね。ジェーンがイケメンも招待したって言ってたし。彼氏をゲットするチャンスね！
