Good afternoon Natty, are you ready for the upcoming event on Thursday?
Natty
Oh. I was going to email you about that.
Sam
Is everything ok?
Natty
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it. My mother is unwell, and I am the only one who can look after her so I will be away for about 2 weeks or so. I am so sorry.
Sam
Oh. Sorry to hear about your mother. I hope she will get better soon.
Natty
Very kind of you. Thank you.

ナッティー：それについてメールしようとしてたのよ。
サム：すべて問題ないかな？
ナッティー：残念だけど、私が行けなくなってしまって。母の具合が悪くて私しか面倒を見る人がいなくて。だから２週間ぐらい不在になるの、ごめんなさい。
