Kazuki
Hi, Mat. What is it?
Mat
You know, Patrick is getting transferred to the South Dakota branch sometime next month.
Kazuki
What do you mean? Isn’t Jake supposed to be the one getting transferred?
Mat
I’m surprised myself but apparently, he’s laid off although he’s the most hardworking.
Kazuki
I can’t believe it! How could that happen?
Mat
I’ve just overheard Meg talking with Suzanna and it was about Jake embezzling from the company!
マット：やぁ、一樹。知ってるかい？
一樹　：マット！何のことだい？
マット：来月の どこかでパトリックがサウスダコタ支店に転勤になるんだ。
一樹　：どういう意味だよ？ジェイクが転勤になるんじゃなかったのか？
マット：僕もびっくりしてるんだけど、一番の働き者だったっていうのにジェイク、解雇になったらしいんだ。
一樹　：そんなの信じられないよ！なんだってそんなことに？
マット：たまたまメグがスザンナと話しているのが聞こえたんだけど、ジェイクは会社の金を横領してたらしいんだ！
