I was disappointed about the New Products seminar that I attended.
The New Products seminar was disappointing.
I felt relieved after I finished the financial report.
It was relieving to have completed the financial report.
They weren’t as bored as they expected to be at the company sports event.
The company sports event wasn’t as boring as they expected.
Activity: You are going to tell your tutor about your job. Try to use as many adjectives as possible.

1) Adjectives that end in ‘-ing’ describe the thing that causes the emotion – a boring lesson makes you feel bored.
(EX) I could listen to him for hours. He’s one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met.
2) Adjectives that end in ‘-ed’ describe emotions – they tell us how people feel about something.
(EX) I was very bored in the maths lesson. I almost fell asleep.
