Good morning, Shuta! You’re early. I thought I’d be the first one to come in to work today.
Shuta
Hi, Jeremy. Well, to tell you the truth, I’m a little late today.
Jeremy
Oh? What time do you usually come in?
Shuta
I always try to get to work before everyone else comes in. I tidy my desk, turn on the computer then go through my emails.
Jeremy
Do you have to?
Shuta
I still have a lot to learn.
Jeremy
Great!
ジェレミー：おはよう、修太。早いね。今日は、僕が一番乗りだと思っていたよ。
修太　　：おはよう、ジェレミー。実は僕、今日は少し遅いんだ。
ジェレミー：え？たいてい何時に出勤してるの？
修太　　：いつも皆が出勤する前に職場に到着するようにしてるんだ。そして机の上を片付けて、コンピューターを立ち上げて、eメールにざっと目を通すんだ。
ジェレミー：そうしなくちゃだめかい？
修太　　：まだまだたくさん学ばなくてはいけないことがあるからね。ジェレミー：素晴らしい！
