Mr.Smith
Hello, Mr. Tanaka. I’m on my way to your office, but I seem to be lost.
Mr.Tanaka
Can you see any big buildings?
Mr.Smith
Well…I can see a corn-shaped building across the street.
Mr.Tanaka
Ah, I see. You can see a drug store next to it. Turn left just before the store.
Mr.Smith
OK. And then?
Mr.Tanaka
Go down the street, and you’ll find a green building. That’s our building. It is located next to a small park.
スミス：もしもし、田中さん。今御社に向かう途中なんですが、道に迷ったようなんです。

田中：何か大きな建物とか見えますか？

スミス：ええと…通りの向こうに円錐型の建物が見えます。

田中：ああ、わかりました。その横に薬局が見えるでしょう。それの手前を左に曲がってください。

スミス：わかりました。それから？

田中：その通りをまっすぐ行くと緑色の建物が見えます。それがわが社のビルです。小さな公園の横にあります。

GIVING SOMEONE DIRECTIONS
道案内の仕方
Go down this street, and you’ll find it on your right.
It’s located about 3 minutes away from here.
Make a left [Turn left] at this corner.
Turn right one block after the bank.
I’m sorry but I’m also a stranger around here.
この通りをまっすぐ行くと右手に見えます。

ここから３分くらいのところにあります。

この通りを左に曲がってください。

銀行の一つ先の角を右に曲がってください。

すみませんが私もこの辺りはよくわからないんです。
