Mr. Jobs and his coworkers are holding a meeting. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Jobs asks Mr. Suzuki for his opinion.

Mr. Suzuki
Well, I think we should target not only children’s parents but also their grandparents. They’ll be glad to buy anything for their grandchildren.
Mr. Jobs
I see… what do you think about his opinion, everyone?

この件に関してどなたかご意見ございませんか。なければ、会議は終了と…

ジョブズ：
待ってくれ。鈴木君、君は今日まだ発言していないじゃないか。君がこの件に関してどう思っているのか興味があるんだ。

鈴木：
えっとですね…私は、子供の親だけでなく、祖父母までをターゲットにするべきだと思うんです。おじいさんおばあさんは孫のためなら喜んで何でも買うものですよ。

ジョブズ：
なるほど…彼の意見についてみんなはどう思う？

練習

Activity 1: Tell your tutor about your interest in something, using ‘I’m interested in～ /I have an [no] interest in～’
練習：I’m interested in～と I have an [no] interest in～を使って先生に自分の関心のあることについて話してみましょう。

Activity 2: Ask your tutor about his/her interest in something, using ‘Are you interested in～? /Do you have any interest in～?’. And when your tutor answers, ask the next question, ‘How did you get interested in～?
練習： Are you interested in～？と Do you have any interest in～？を用いて先生に質問をしてみましょう。その質問に先生が答えたら、How did you get interested in～？を使って興味を持ったきっかけを尋ねてみましょう。
